My fiancé John and I met 6 years ago at a happy hour where I was going to meet another person. He stopped me dead in my track and said “you are adorable!” As I responded “that is what my dad says”, we started dating a few weeks later!

We are getting married September 7, 2019! So soon, that will be our 6 year dating anniversary! We will be getting married in Chestertown, Maryland, my hometown.

My advice for someone who just got engaged is to book your makeup and hair artist first! The good ones book up so fast :) also, be present and cherish that moment as their is not a feeling ever like it ❤️

I have a type A personality so I finished most of my planning on the first few months. I wanted to the enjoy the rest of our engagement. Make a spreadsheet and different folders- this will be your lifesaver with budget and organization!

My Best tips for finding the right dress? Look in bridal magazines! I saw mine in one and fell in love, I called local bridal boutiques to see if they had it and I tried it on and done! Pick what speaks to you, not what you think you should be!

One thing that I would do differently? I would get one more layer on the cake!
